Province Research and Training Center (PRTC)/PLGSP accomplished a 7-day Service Entry Training for Assistant (Fourth) Level staffs of Province Government (PG) at Janakpurdham from 26 December 2025 to 3 January 2026 . The training strengthened the knowledge, skills, and confidence and enhanced to clearly understand their roles, office systems, and service delivery responsibilities within provincial institutions. A total of 27 newly recruited Assistant Fourth-Level employees from different provincial offices of Madhesh Province participated in the training.
The training covered key areas such as office procedures, file and record management, service delivery processes, budgeting, ICT tools, legal provisions, and professional behavior. Participants actively engaged in group work, role plays, and practical exercises. group discussion and interactions helped to link theory with real work practices. Trainers shared practical examples and case-based learning to strengthen understanding. GESI aspects integrated through sessions emphasizing ethical service delivery, coordination, and awareness of policy provisions for marginalized groups.
Participants reported increased confidence, improved administrative skills, and a clearer understanding of workflows. One participant noted, “The practical exercise helped me understand my daily official tasks better,” while another also shared, “The training built my confidence to engage with colleagues and citizens effectively.” The program successfully strengthened participants’ competencies, laid a foundation for on the job learning, and is expected to enhance professional and accountable service delivery across provincial institutions.
The next step is to apply the learned skills in daily office work and improve service delivery practices. This training directly contributed to PLGSP’s goal of building capable, accountable, and service-oriented provincial government institutions to deliver public services.
