With the support of PLGSP, the seven-day induction training for newly appointed Assistant Level 4th began today at the Province Research and Training Center (PRTC). The training aims to build the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviour required for effective and citizen centric service delivery.
A total of 24 participants, including 10 women, from different provincial government offices joined the programme. This is the second induction training ever organized in the history of PRTC. Therefore, this training is an important milestone in strengthening the professional foundation of newly recruited staff.The training will run for 7 days and will be delivered through comprehensive modules covering: office operation and management, Public finance and procurement, Public service delivery, governance, transparency, and civil service laws, Contemporary issues, ICT skills, Inter-governmental relations, Development planning, Personality development, grievance handling, and organizational behavior.  This training is expected to help participants develop the foundational competencies needed to manage office functions, contribute to effective public service delivery, understand government finance and procurement processes, and support development planning and local economic development.
The next steps will include continued follow-up, refresher and short-term courses, and ongoing capacity development support from PRTC and PLGSP. This induction programme marks an important step toward strengthening provincial service delivery and contributes directly to PLGSP’s goal of improving the quality and responsiveness of governance at the subnational level.
