PLGSP Transitional Provincial Annual Strategic Implementation Plan (P-ASIP) pre-planning workshop concluded in Madhesh Province (27 April 2023)

A pre-planning workshop for the PLGSP Transitional Provincial Annual Strategic Implementation Plan (P-ASIP) of Madhesh Province has been concluded on 27 April 2023 in Janakpurdham which was chaired by the Provincial Programme Director of PLGSP, Mr. Nurhari Khatiwada and was attended by the provincial government, local government and the development partners.

The pre-planning workshop was participated by a total of 25 participants representing the Principal Secretary (Mr. Kishor Kumar Chaudhary); Chief Attorney (Mr. Birendra Kumar Thakur); Vice-Chairperson of the Province Policy and Planning Commission (Nathu Prasad Chaudhary); province secretaries from the province ministries and commissions; provincial head of the association of local governments namely, MuAN and NARMIN; and the development partners including the Project Coherence Unit (British Embassy Kathmandu) and UN Agencies (UNDP and UNFPA).

The stakeholders discussed on the proposed PLGSP activities under the Provincial Programme Implementation Unit (PPIU) and the Provincial Center for Good Governance (PCGG) and suggested to propose only the achievable activities for the effective programme delivery in the transitional year (July 2023 - July 2024).
