KPTA organized Community of Practice (CoP) with Ward secretaries of Birendranagar Municipality. In the event a productive Community of Practice (CoP) discussion was successfully conducted with the active participation of ward secretaries from all 14 wards of Birendranagar Municipality and facilitated by Karnali PLGSP.
During the session, participants shared their best practices, field experiences, and key operational challenges related to service delivery and local governance. The interaction created a collaborative platform for peer learning and practical problem-solving.
🔑 Key Highlights:
* Sharing of innovative practices from different wards
* Open discussion on service delivery challenges and governance issues
* Identification of priority issues requiring support
* Agreement on gradual, issue-based capacity development planning
* Commitment to continue CoP meetings regularly (both physical and virtual) in future.
👥 Leadership Formation:
To ensure continuity and coordination, the group nominated a Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator from among the ward secretaries.
📅 Way Forward:
Participants agreed to organize the next CoP meeting in the coming month and continue such engagements frequently to strengthen local governance and improve service delivery. First week of next month there will be issue based panel discussion event on recommendation writing, Citizenship and social security issues.
