The Province Research and Training Center/PLGSP organized two events of 30 days In-Service training for Officers (Sixth) level staff of Provincial Government at Janakpurdham from 2 November 2025 to 8 January 2026 . The training strengthened the professional skills, leadership capacity, and service delivery readiness of Sixth Level officers. The training supported officers to perform their roles more effectively in a federal and citizen-focused governance system. A total of 83 permanent Sixth Level officers from provincial bodies participated in the training, including five female officers.
The training covered office management, public financial management, procurement, service delivery, policy and governance, ICT, leadership, and development management. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, group discussions, case studies, role plays, and field study visits . Practical learning focused on problem-solving, coordination, ethical conduct, and digital service delivery.. GESI aspects were integrated through sessions on gender-responsive budgeting, social accountability, social inclusion, and service delivery for marginalized groups. Participants expressed, training helped them to apply results-based management, professionalism in service delivery in daily work and their perceptions towards how they approach service delivery.” Expected results include improved work performance, better governance, and strengthened public service delivery across provincial institutions.
The next step is to apply the acquired skills in daily administrative work and improve institutional performance. This training directly contributed to PLGSP’s goal of building capable, accountable, and results-oriented provincial institutions.
