PLGSP Madhesh Strengthens Digital Governance through Handover of the Provincial Personal Information System (PPIS)

To strengthen the Personal Information System (PIS) of provincial and local government staff, PLGSP Madhesh Province supported the handover of the customized PIS system to the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers (OCMCM), Madhesh Province, on 12 November 2025. This initiative aims to enhance data management and promote efficient, transparent, and accountable public service delivery across all levels of government.

The event was attended by Mr. Yemendra Upadhya, Province Secretary, and Shravan Kumar Pokhrel, DG from the Department of National Personnel Record (Civil)/Rastriya  Kitabkhana (Nijamati ), with the presence of Acting Principal Secretary Mr. Lab Babu Kawari, staffs from OCMCM, TA and stakeholders. The system was officially handed over by the Director General of Department of National Personnel Record (Civil), followed by the signing and exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties.

The event highlighted the collaboration between federal and provincial institutions to modernize personnel data systems. Act. Principal Secretary emphasized the importance of customized digital solutions and capacity development for smooth PIS implementation in Madhesh Province.

As the next step, PLGSP Madhesh will support the installation of servers and technical training at both provincial and local levels. This activity directly contributes to PLGSP’s goal of strengthening institutional capacity, promoting good governance, and improving service delivery through digital transformation.
