The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers Provincial and local governance program (PLGSP) provincial Implementation Unit ( PPIU)  conducted a Public Hearing Program on the 2nd of February , 2024, at the District Coordination Office Hall in Surkhet. The event covered the three provincial offices: Directorate of Industry and Consumer Protection, Office of Land Management and Registrar of Cooperatives, and Transportation Management Office in Surkhet.
Mr. Ananda Saru, Secretary/Provincial Program Director of the PLGSP program, chaired the program, which was facilitated by PPM ,Netra Karki in formal session. The discussion session was facilitated by Ganesh Kanchan Bharati , freelancer . The main objective of this program was to provide a comprehensive update on the progress made by the three offices up to this quarter to the citizens and describe them of the current service delivery status.
 All participants actively engaged in raising questions based on jurisdiction and service delivery concerns. A total of 100 participants attended the event, during the program more than 33 questions were raised. The heads of the three offices addressed all queries raised by the participants, contributing to a constructive dialogue on enhancing public services and governance
