Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Provincial Program Implementation Unit (PPIU), Lumbini Province organized an orientation program with IT personnel from Provincial Ministries and Offices on updating and uniformity of website, formulation of network and their mobilization. The main objectives of the orientation programme was to make uniformity of all province ministries and offices’ website as well as reformatting for making more users friendly and providing the easy access to the citizens.

The programme was chaired by Mr. Narayan Prasad Sharma Duwadi, Secretary of Planning and Governance Reform Division/OCMCM and chief guest was Mr. Bharat Mani Subedi Acting Principal Secretary of OCMCM. The orientation programme was facilitated by Mr. Anup Baskota, Executive Director of ICTP on E-Governance implementation status in Nepal and at Province level and current trend in ICT. Mr. Amrit Bhandari, Software engineer of ICTP presented on the new website template and Mr. Manish Sharma, CEO of Prixa Technology presented on IT security audit and security threat. Mr. Suresh Chandra Acharya, Provincial Programme Manager, OCMCM presented on overview of PLGSP.

The Program concluded with the formation of provincial-level IT personnel network and develop action plan of network for the implementation of new website and ICT related activities.
