A high level three days’ workshop on “Law Drafting to the Hon’ble Members of the Thematic Committees of Madhesh Province Assembly” has been concluded from 02 – 04 January 2024 in Bara district in Madhesh Province which aimed to enrich the understanding of the Hon’ble Province Assembly Members on law drafting where the high level resource persons namely, Hon’ble Dr. Khim Lal Devkota (National Assembly Member), Hon’ble Ram Narayan Bidari (Constituent Assembly Member and former National Assembly Member) and Madhav Paudel (Former Minister and Legal Secretary) delivered the training sessions in an interactive way.

The workshop was actively participated by the Hon’ble Speaker, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, Hon’ble Chairpersons, Members of the Thematic Committees of Madhesh Province Assembly and the staffs of the Province Assembly Secretariat providing support to these thematic committees of the Madhesh Province Assembly.

The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers had organized the workshop under the Provincial and Local Governance Support Programme (PLGSP) where the Provincial Programme Implementation Unit - PPIU provided the overall technical assistance.
