The capacity development training program for information technology officials in Lumbini Province's local levels has successfully concluded. A prior needs assessment survey, with 60 participating IT officials, identified Networking and Server Management as the top priority for 30 local levels and as the second priority for 9 officials from other levels.

In the first phase, 39 IT officials from these local levels actively participated in the program. In the subsequent phase, which has concluded, 29 IT officers were trained. The training conducted covered practical topics including setting up physical networks, troubleshooting IP addresses for various operating systems, configuring network devices, virtualization, and Linux operating systems. The hands-on sessions involved practical exercises on real devices, enriching the learning experience.
