The Provincial Coordination Committee (PCC) meeting of the Provincial and Local Governance Support Programme (PLGSP) of Madhesh Province was organized by the Provincial Programme Implementation Unit of PLGSP in Janakpur on 31 July 2023. The meeting was chaired by the new Hon’ble Chief Minister, Mr. Saroj Kumar Yadav and was attended by the PCC members. Vice-Chairperson of the Province Policy and Planning Commission (Nathu Prasad Chaudhary), Chief Attorney of Madhesh Province (Birendra Kumar Thakur) and the Executive Director of the Provincial Research and Training Center (Satar Ansari) were the invitee members.

The PCC is the supreme governance body of PLGSP at the province level. The PCC members reviewed the overall annual progress of PLGSP in 2022 carried out by the Provincial Programme Implementation Unit (PPIU) and the Provincial Center for Good Governance (PCGG) in Madhesh Province and were further updated on the annual strategic implementation plan for the current fiscal year 2023/24.
