SIXTH PROVINCIAL COORDINATION COMMITTEE (PCC) MEETING OF PLGSP, SUDURPASHCHIM

Brief reporting:
The meeting of the Sixth Provincial Coordination Committee of PLGSP, Sudurpashchim Province was concluded at the conference hall at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers (OCMCM) in dual method (Physical presence of PG officials and through zoom for Palika representatives and NPM from PCU/MoFAGA) on 7 September 2021 (2078/5/22), Tuesday. The meeting was conducted under the chairpersonship of Hon. Chief Minister, Trilochan Bhatta. PGs Secretaries: of OCMCM (PPD), Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning and Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Chief of Provincial Finance Treasury Control Office, PPM, OCMCM officials and PPIU TA experts participated in the meeting physically whereas, the members representing the local governments (Mayor- Bellauri Municipality, Deputy Mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City and Vice-Chair of Ramaroshan RM), , National Programme Manager from PCU/MoFAGA, representatives from NARMIN and MUAN, and ED and TA experts from PCGG participated in the meeting through zoom.
The meeting was facilitated by Provincial Programme Director (Secretary of OCMCM) and discussed on presentation of annual progress review of FY 2077-78 and implementation planning of FY 2078-79 presented by GLE/Team Leader from PPIU (As assigned by PPD) and LGs selection criteria for selected activities implementation for FY 2078-79 by the Executive Director of PCGG. The Chair and participating members in the meeting discussed on points and directed both PPIU and PCGG teams for proper planning and timely completion of activities, mostly before upcoming local level election to achieve its objectives and milestones along with being cautious to COVID 19 pandemic related situation and safety measures. The meeting also reached at the decision for endorsement of review of FY 2077-78 and annual plan of FY 2078-79 and for collection of opinions and suggestions from all PCC members on the selection criteria within five days. Then, the PCC chair will provide necessary direction to PCGG in this regard.
