Province 2 organized two days GESI mainstreaming orientation in two Local governments i.e.

1. Aadarsha Kotwal Rural Municipality in Bara  on 19th and 20th November. Altogether 28 participants i.e. 8 female and 20 male participated in two days GESI orientation. The orientation was organized for elected representatives of Local Governments.
2. Karaiya Mai Rural municipality, Bara  on 19th and 20th November for elected representatives of Local government. Altogether,  23 participants participated in the program (10 female and 13 male which includes 11 Janajatis, 8 Madeshi, 2 Muslims, 1 Chhetri and 1 Dalit)

The orientation workshop helped the participants to having better conceptual understanding on GESI and Gender Responsive Budget (GRB) which expected to help in mainstreaming GESI in local government for more GESI sensitive and inclusive program, budget and services.
