PLGSP's Local Government Outreach Initiative Programme invites applications from young university graduates who are eager to work with local governments in Madhesh, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces of Nepal. This programme is a collaboration between Kathmandu University – Nepal Centre for Contemporary Studies and UNDP Nepal. It aims to strengthen local governance by introducing innovative capacity development approaches, with a strong focus on mentoring. 60 selected fellows will be trained and deployed in local governments (20 in each province), where they will provide hands-on mentoring support to local government representatives, particularly in challenging and remote contexts.
