Brief Introduction

Mr. Rudra Singh Tamang is a Joint Secretary in the Government of Nepal, currently serving as National Program Director (NPD) of Province and Local Governance Strengthening Programme (PLGSP), a national flagship programme hosted by Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

His career spans over a decade, with extensive experience in high-level administrative roles, including his positions as Director General at the Department of Immigration under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Joint Secretary at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.

Mr. Tamang has a strong background in public administration and policy, holding a Master's degree in Public Administration from Purbanchal University, with expertise in budgeting and taxation, and a Master of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Tribhuvan University. His expertise includes government administration, strategic planning, and public engagement, underscoring his commitment to effective governance and public service.
