Background: Nepal's constitution makes all citizens equal in terms of law, The right to equality is guaranteed to all citizens with the commitment to protection. Nepal is a party nation to various National and International Conventions. In line, Nepal government has committed for gender equality, women empowerment and social inclusion. It was mandatory provision to allocate the certain budget for women, dalit and ethnicity during unitary government system. But after transferring Nepal into federal system, the provision is not mandatory in Local Government. Only part of the budget is being allocated in gender responsive. Due to which a large part of women population is deprived of education, health, economic empowerment etc. That is why, it's important to make the gender responsive budget preparation guideline by province government. That can guide local government during budget planning.

Testimonial:
Mrs. Pushpalata Upreti- Ministry of Economic affairs and Planning, gave her remarks during closing session of GRB training. " The training is very fruitful to us. The study of different organizations shows that the economic development of the country depends on equal development of men and women. In the context of Nepal most of women are engage in unpaid work. It's hard to grow the economic development of Nepal until economic empowerment of women. The overall training management was remarkable including hotel management."
Mr Bidur Poudel- Department chief, "I realized that the training contents designed for basic knowledge which is very useful for us. The Province Training Centre have to develop the advanced level content for next training so that we can replicate the gained knowledge in our task. We always need support from Province Training Centre to enhance our capacity."
