The Karnali Provincial Government's Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers recently organized an Issue-based Dialogue Program on "e-governance" on January 12th ,2023 was successfully completed by the Provincial and local governance program PLGSP -Program Implementation Unit ( PPIU) at  Birendranagar, Surkhet.

Honorable Chief Minister Raj Kumar Sharma, was a  chief guest of this program  and he shared his insights on the program's significance and role of provincial government  to implement  e -governance  at provincial level .Distinguished guests included former Chief Ministers Mahendra Bahadur Shahi and Jiwan Bahadur Shahi. also participated in this program and put their views .Moreover, the event was actively attended by mayors, deputy mayors, chairpersons, vice-chairpersons of local governments, and the Provincial Secretary. The first session of the program discussed the possibilities of digital governance and its  importance  Digital Karnali, and the opportunities and challenges of e- governance at the local level. The second session concluded the program with a panel discussion on policy and implementation level's gaps and role of stakeholder to promote  e governance at national level.
